Carpanelli Motori Elettrici SpA, Bologna, founded in 1947 by Mr. Zeno Carpanelli, is one of the larger manufacturers of electric motors, with a capacity of more than one million drives per year. The company has a large, technically advanced engineering department and modern testing facilities. The focus of the company is therefore on the design and production of electric motors in the range of 30W to 15kW for special applications. 60% of the production is custom-made for the mainly international customers. Carpanelli is ISO certified and is authorized to produce under CE, CSA and UL mark.
More than twenty years ago MAK Aandrijvingen entered into a partnership with Carpanelli Motori Elettrici. Over the years MAK has grown to be one of the most important customers of Carpanelli.
IE2 / IE3 norm The IE2 / IE3 standard applies to electric motors from 0.75kW. Carpanelli supplies electric motors that meet the new requirements of the Efficiency Standard.
